Texas... finally
I came across this pistol on a different forum and am totally intrigued by it. Lots of interesting ideas built into in. Problem is, I have no idea what it is.

Does anyone know what make/model/caliber this is?

The small size and rear sight placement reminds me of the old Detonics Combat Master but it's not one of those as, as far as I know, they were all mini-1911s

If Detonics, CZ, Beretta and a 1911 had a love child, it would be this pistol. Hence, my confusion.

It looks to me to be a DOUBLE ACTION DETONICS STAINLESS MK.VI that has had a bobtail and a dehorning job done on it. Also, some extra engraving on the slide, possibly the smith who did the work.

The pictures of the Detonics Mk.VIs I can find have that TSW serial number prefix.

The "TSW" is the mark of TSW Conversions of Paramus NJ. They use the Seecamp type conversion to convert single action 1911 pistols to double action.

Depending upon the level of custom work, you could get Stage I, II or III. This one is marked Stage III.

The slide on top is Detonics fitted to the converted frame. Very likely 45acp but since these are custom conversions it can be any chambering.

The Viking ODI conversion mentioned in a post above has that same Seecamp type DA conversion.

I was wondering what the stamped steel cove was about. Have any photos of the "guts" of the conversion?

It's pretty minimal. A sheet steel cover plate keeps the moving parts where they belong. If that transfer bar gets out of alignment it won't pick up the hammer. Tolerances are pretty tight to make it function properly. Trigger pull in DA is horrendous.

Thanks for the answers.

I contacted the owner and he just got back to me.

It's a :

"whacked out vintage detonics combatmaster. Mods include seecamp D/A conversion, bobtailed, and chopped in 45 acp. I also have the original 38 super slide thats been modded to fire 9x23 win as well. Hard chromed, tuned and branded stage 3 cobra by Virgil @ Tripp performance."
