Didn't have time to wait for the weather to provide an overcast evening. It needs to get in the mail today, so all I got was one decent pic. I still wanted to post it because it's a little different. Usually the slotted conchos go on Mexican loop types. Made for a 5½" 1858 Remington, pictured with my 7½" laser engraved Pietta.

On a bright day look for a shadow being cast by a building or other large object. Place the item you are going to photograph in that shadow and go to it. The resulting image may be a little dark, but you can correct this with your computer.

Since you are in a shadow the item won't cast one.

Thanks all for the kind words!

That's what I did but it isn't the same. A moderately dark overcast day is almost like using a light box.

I was expecting a picture of a pouch full of beef sticks.:banghead:

Just kidding. I like it. And a picture like that is why I don't post any pictures of the holsters I make.:barf:

still very much enjoying the crossdraw three persons you made for my 3.75" bisley super blackhawk. hoping to have you do something for my 5.5" bisley convertible at some point.

I still have a hard time calling a frontier era holster "Slim Jim" for that very reason!

That's always good to hear! I'll be caught up by the end of the year. Right now I'm working on one for myself that's gonna be a stunner! ;)

Yet another stunning rig! Even with just one photo the craftsmanship is still extremely discernible. Thanks for the look.
