I took my 6.5 creedmoor RAP out yesterday and today to the range. This gun has been amazingly accurate since day one. The first few pics are with the Winchester match ammo. The last two are with a 140 grain Sierra Gameking. cebb2b2abd12a89a89b1ddc137915777.jpg 55cb676582c9f1314ed86ad6d1b23178.jpg c3dfac572b4af95368db5484b105b7e3.jpg 0a58f7ca0d52ae8950bbecbdab7acdde.jpg e4072d3e920aa3df56038b4e70bd33ca.jpg b5cae7c72f394609d7c5465a6c39160d.jpg

Here are also the first two groups with a clean barrel. After these 6 shots groups tightened a great deal. Apparently it's likes the barrel to be a little dirty. ba32b3c55e02f44d9fc4240338814ab4.jpg 3a44bc8cffb711c58731ca696e19bbae.jpg

I have the RAP in 308, with the shorter barrel (18"?). Its an amazing rifle for $400. It shoots really well with Win 150 grain powerpoints from wally world- 1" groups.

My sister just bought the same 308 we have not shot it yet but looking forward to it.

Cleveland- the recoil pad really works well. Can't begin to tell you how impressed I am with this rifle. Would love to find some 150 grain ball that groups well for practice- DON"T try ZQ-1- its horrible. PMC is ok but not great.

What about the Winchester white box 147 grain ball for practice? I do not own a 308 so I have never used them.

Cleveland- Never tried them- I'd say give it a shot if you can get them cheaper than power points (about $18 a box at Wal mart) but I would only buy 1 box to start with in case they suck- that way you won't be stuck with the rest.
