Magpul Remington 700 hunter stock

I'm not sure how the triangular barrel of your VTR would fit the barrel channel on the Magpul stock. Never heard of anyone put a VTR in the Magpul stock yet.

Love mine. Seems rigid and accurate. Ive got a 700 Tactical in .223 in it. QD slip attach points so I can use the same sling as my other long guns.

My setup is probably one of the first that use the 556 AI mags.

Post a photo when you get it so we can all see how the triangle barrel fits the channel of the stock and if it still remains free floated.

Could be. I bought the Magpul DBM in January and tried my 223 AI mags in them. Fit like a glove and a friend is using them in his 223 with the Magpul stock.

I think for the money the Magpul PHS is a good solution and very comfortable. Their DBM option is really nice for the money, even on a non-magpul (Boyds) stock-

^ Very cool. I searched everything I could / talked to Magpul and MDT and no one could answer if 223 AI mags would work or say they had seen it before.

VERY NICE! Im considering doing a really long tube on my stw when i finally shoot it out, and while im happy enough with the factory sps stock (now that its almost completely full of fiberglass and bedding material), it would look funny with a long heavy tube....this might just fit the bill tho.
