The reason I ask is that I'm going to buy one of these monsters and time it so that I pick it up from my local FFL on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 8, 2016 right after I am done voting.

Thanks.

I was going to pick the S&W Model 460 in 460 S&W because I kind of actually want one BUT had to go with the 45/70 because it was over the topest.

Just for fun? It's hard to wrap my head around the notion (lol), but I suppose I'd pick the legitimate DEagle in .50 AE.

None of the others speak to me. Truthfully neither does this one, but I shot one once and my friends would all know what it is right off the bat (long time FPS gamers).

I chose the 45-70 because it is " over the top " and I am already set up for reloading this cartridge ,,,, bonus,,,,

Just for fun I would go with a Desert Eagle in .50 Action Express. Shot a friend's in .44 Mag. and it was a hoot to play around with on the range.

I got an S&W 460XVR primarily because I found a new one deep discounted on sale. I had no reason for it otherwise.

But, the 460 Magnum will shoot 45 Colt and 454 Casull so it has some flexibility with ammunition that it can use.

DE 50, preferably the gold/tiger stripes option. I shot a friends (black, not gold) and enjoyed it. Shot it one handed and almost swallowed a piece of brass. Fun fun for sure!

Shot one ,so

I was given a chance to shoot a S&W 460 at a range a year ago.

I would buy one in a heart beat [ looking now ] as I really was impressed with the boom ,and the accuracy of the full house load.

No more recoil than a .44 mag that I own and carry for hunting.

AND you can shoot 2 other calibers from it too,454 Casull and .45 Colt.

If you want over the top you could have added the BFR in .450 Marlin.

I think a BFR in 460 S&W Magnum would be my choice. I like the fact you can also fire 454 Casull and 45 Colt in the same revolver although the 45-70 or .450 Marlin would be unreal. I did see a BFR in .450 Marlin but did not have the opportunity to shoot it.

DE in .44 since you can feed it without breaking the bank.

I'm a Ruger fan but the .480 is tough to reload due to $$ of bullets that diameter and I think it may well die down the road.

Deagle .44

It's the only one I could ever hope to afford shooting since I don't reload. Plus me and my uncle shot one once time and it was a riot.

I chose the 460 s&w. It is allowed at 1 of the 4 ranges I go to, and I recall seeing ammo available.

I'd go either:
Desert Eagle .44. Ridiculous gun, easy to find ammo.

S&W in .460. Quality gun, takes .460, .454 and .45 Colt.

If it is a post-voting, pro-freedom, political statement, I'd probably go with an AR pistol. Out of what's on your list I'd go with one of the Desert Eagles since they are the only ones I'd likely actually shoot.

Desert Eagle in .44 Mag. I have hands on experience with one.

The DE .44 Mag is probably the softest shooter on the list, which means more fun time, which means more ammo fired, which means as much money spent as one of the other guns for total ammo cost in one range setting. :D
