Wow....been away from THR for a bit and just saw this posting today. Saddens me deeply, I loved to read his posts. Finding his type of knowledge and entertaining way of sharing it will be an impossibility to replace.

Rest in peace RC...........

Wow, I feel terrible that I didn't even see this post until just now. Life has been a bit crazy in my world for the past month, but I had actually noticed that I didn't see RC posting around here like normal... apparently I just skimmed past the pinned post at the top without even noticing it.

I'm really saddened by this news. Although I never knew him in person, I spoke a lot with RC here on the forums. He was actually a great help to me back when I first started reloading ammo, and always seemed to have one more piece of advice he could share with all of us here.

Rest in peace, RC. You'll be missed!

Rest In Peace RC.
I just saw this. I will read the entire thread tomorrow. RC always reminded me of my grandfather. That is how I pictured him as well.

I haven't been on THR as much, especially on the General Discussion forum. I am so sad to see this thread. RC always came across as knowledgeable and more than willing to teach others the vast knowledgeable he had accrued. These types of people are very important for a society to prosper from one generation to the next, and they seem to be getting rarer and rarer. So it is with a heavy heart that I say you'll be very much missed RC.

I always felt there was something special about RC, and yes he answered some of my dumb questions. I learned alot from reading his posts. Prayers for the family.

What an impact he had.

I've been away for some time, doing things in ways...

Came back here recently and immediately noticed his absence, I mean instantly, when he did not respond to a fellas inquiry into an old knife. Had to look into it and it led me to this sad thread.

It came to be that his responses would be a "given" and full of useful info. I sincerely regret not ever having actually met the man and want to thank Bull for the information.

A known loss is somehow less in impact than the mysterious absence of significant folks.

RIP RC & God Speed...

Todd.

I have not been around much at all lately. But today I came here to browse the loading forum and it only took a few minutes to realize something was missing. RC was missing, and now I see he is gone.

I was privileged to have had a few interactions with the man. You always knew where he stood on any topic, and I can only think of one word that represents him, respect.

I hope when it is my time to move on to the next world I can find him there and shake his hand.

THR is a lesser place without him.

I was down with the flu when this news came out, and I don't really know what to say in these instances anyway so I've been putting this off for too long.

RC is truly missed, and the forum is lessened by his passing.

Wow, I have been away from the boards for a while and just saw this. How sad; he sure will be missed.

When I would post a question to the board, I always hoped he would reply. I hope all his family is doing well with all they have been going through. Best wishes to them.

Again, Rest in Peace RC.

He obviously had an influence on many people.

I seems like some of you actually knew RC.
I am curious about his signature and if there was a story behind the primers in a glass jar.

I haven't been here for awhile, but the news of RC's passing is saddening and he will certainly be missed. Prayers for his family sent from Texas.

You know, I never did get around to asking him about that ... ?
Course, there were a lot of things we never got around to talking about the times I saw him, always figured I'd get to it next time I was around .
Let this be a lesson to you fellows who still have Dads, Uncles and other older folks with whom you can ask stuff.
Ask, listen and remember.

RC had mentioned liking the factory Glock duty holster. Said it was fast and very concealable. Last week I ordered one just because. I love it.

RC will surely be missed! I wish I had a database of all the information he had to share. I always knew I could count on him with any question! Happy heavenly reloading RC!

Wow! Just Wow! I go away for a while and when return, the whole board has a new face and RC is no longer with us. So sorry he is gone. Prayers for his family. He answered a bunch of my dumb questions to and commented on several of my posts. Seemed like it wasn't "official" until RC had chimed in.
