Agreed. Love the new format.

The other issue was a couple of characters who felt the need to pontificate on topics they had zero experience in, yet, somehow, still felt qualified to make noises about anyway. Both no longer post, albeit for different reasons.

Haven't been on here in a couple of weeks. Definitely looks like a different place. Got a nice, clean look to it, but a little sterile compared to the old format. As long as the content stays as good as it has always been it won't matter - hopefully it helps with recruiting.

New format seems ok to me but I am having trouble determining which posts are read Vs. unread. What am I missing?

But the second giveaway that a thread is unread is the little blue dot to the left of the tile. I wish the bold was more obvious.

I tried a few different styles and it does make a difference. Hopefully when they get the colors refined it will improve a bit. I do not know how I missed the little blue dot, but thanks for your help.

Sorry, don't like it...but I don't pay the bills here...so, I can take it or leave it...will probably move along.

Like a few others have said...this will be a good thing for me as I will drift away from this forum...spent too much time here and there are other forums that I learn
more from, anyway.

To be honest, in recent years, I have come here mostly to see what the noob's are posting...as there are certainly a lot of inexperienced people on this forum. But, they need somewhere to learn and this place is good for those just starting out.

I'm seeing more and more forums switching from vBulletin. I like this version of Xenforo better than some of the earlier ones. Maybe it's just the way that it is configured.

I'm with the guys that say it's an improvement. Not that there was anything wrong with the old way but this
one is very easy to navigate. Good show!

I've changed my mind about Tapatalk because of security and privacy issues. For both the web developer and user there have been a range of security issues, just a few of which have been publicly reported (such as cross scripting issues, website redirects and phishing). As of now, I won't use Tapatalk for any forum that I am active in - just for those where I am a lurker/passive reader.

Hi Derek, Good Work on the "Derek's Tweeks" style. Much better than the "Mostly Pastel" default and easier on the eyes. I think the main page could still use a bit of work to get the contrast up but definitely improving! Keep it up!

At first, I thought "Rexster" was going to be lost, because the password I typed did not work, and I no longer remember the e-mail I used to register for THR back in the day. I tried "Rex G," another user name I use on several forums, but it did not show to be a valid user name for THR. I was about to re-join with another user name, but then decided to try my remembered password, one more time, and it worked. I must have typo'ed my password on that first attempt. Now, all is well again.

I have 4 "Alerts", no clue what that means.

I was resistant to the new change. But I am coming around. I never use Tapatalk so that doesn't bother me. Either way I appreciate the work that was put into this site. Thank you
