The non adjustable brightness LED Trijicon RMR. I've heard reports that the RMR's red dot will be washed out (invisible) if you are in a dark room using a rail mounted flashlight at the same time. This is because the brightness is self-adjusted by the RMR and in a dark room, the RMR would be on the dimmest setting. Couple the dimmest setting with a strong rail mounted flashlight and the red dot will be washed out or invisible. However, a Crimson Trace Lightguard is not too strong a light. It is only 100 lumens not 200 like many competitors. So, is the Crimson Trace Lightguard compatible with the Trijicon RMR 01 ? Will the red dot be visible in a dark room with the Lightguard on?

Thanks,
:)

Wouldn't you be in a "bright room" as soon as you turn on a very bright light?
Sometimes one can have too much technology.
