If Jules and I can make it, it will be Sunday. So let us know since I don't think we could find Cheatham again on our own.

I will try to remember to post something on Saturday to let you know definitively if we are going.

Chris

Since I cannot go on Sat. But I am able to go on Sun. We need a meet up place and a time to meet.

why not in front of the courthose there in ashland city?? range opens at noon, so sometime after that....

Darrin mentioned going to the gun show first around 10ish am....So, if you all want to meet up there, look around, buy toys, rounds of amo, what not, then we can head out to the range.

Slingers, looking forward to seeing you guys again.....Hope you can make it.

yesterdaysyouth

the only thing that has changed is my cell. I will send you a PM.

Oh....dont forget about the time change:p

I plan on being there on Sunday. I'm trying to talk a couple of guys I work with into going as well.

This range trip might be a little wet. Oh well, it rained on D-Day 60 years ago too...

Nah! they always say that...we should be ok...if not...who the hell cares, I always wanted to shoot in the rain.:D

We will be at the Fairgrounds (that's where it is, right?) at 10 am on Sunday and will follow someone to the range. Lunch? We will be bringing M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, M1A Squad Scout, H&K USC with a grease gun conversion (30 rounds of .45, baby!!!), and probably the Vepr in 7.62X39.

Any of you guys want to shoot any of our toys, feel free to bring ammo.

Sheslinger

I will see if I can bring a pack of WWB .45.

For all concerned: I will be bringing:

10mm Witness Full-size
Czech 24/47 8mm Mauser
Legacy Escort Aimguard 12ga
WASR-10 Full-cap

Basically, all my guns. :)

Bring ammo if you want to shoot.
Bring 8mm ammo if you want to shoot more than 5rds of 8mm.
Bring 12ga if you want to shoot anything other than birdshot (I need to pickup some cheap buckshot. Anyone know of any in Nashville?)
Bring 10mm if you want to shoot it. PMC, Blazer are great. It doesnt seem to like UMC.

Don't know how ambitious I will feel, but I am bringing at least one new shooter. For that reason, I will have at least one .22 pistol and one .22 rifle, perhaps more. Will also bring an M14 clone and a 1911. I'll bring a camera, too -- so look sharp you'alls!

My tenative list:

Para-Ord C7-45 LDA
Rock Island 1911
Heritage Rough Rider .22 lr/mag

Rem 870 Police

M-N M44
M-N M38
M-N 91/30
Jap Arisaka (I have 20 rounds, if you want to shoot it, you're welcome to.)

I'll also bring some clays and a hand thrower, as well as plenty of 12 gauge.

I've also got a couple hundred rounds of .223 for Lane Mullins' AR.

Frank

here's my list.... just bring ammo if you wanna shoot em'

para d7.45 - .45
SW1911 - .45
beretta neos - .22lr
beretta storm - 9mm
ar-15 - 223
sig 232 - 380
saiga - 762x39

storm is sighted for wwb 115gr.

Looks like i will be coming down with yesterdaysyouth.

I'll be bringing my
Sig 226
Saiga 7.62x39

that's pretty much all i have got besides a bunch of shotguns.

If I can make it I hope to hook up with some of you guys at the Fairgrounds on Sunday and follow out? Items to bring:

AR-15
WASR-10 Hi-Cap
Marlin 1894C .357
Ruger 22/45 .22lr
SIG P220 .45ACP
Taurus 66 .357

Dunno if they'll all come out, but anybody's welcome to play with them. I had planned on buying a bunch of ammo at the show but I ended up with about $600 of unexpected expenses this week so maybe not. The .22 may be what gets the heaviest workout as a result.

One of these days I'm gonna make it to one of these Nashville shoots. I want to meet the bunch of you and I have some "pull" with Frontier Airlines. Besides, I like Nashville, been there a few times.

Do y'all allow Yankees to shoot with you? ;)

What I plan to bring:

M1904/39 Mauser 8mm
Mossberg 500 12Ga w/PG and folding stock
Heritage Rough Rider 22Lr pistol
Beretta 92F 9mm
maybe my 44cal blackpowder pistol
Charter Arms .38 stuby

Moparmike:

you can get 100 round packs from our local WW for 14.88 just basic 12ga shells #7 I think.

Do y'all allow Yankees to shoot with you?

Dude, I am a Yankee...the biggest and loudest one these people have ever met....and I am darn proud of it....I think they accept me, if not, then they haven't said anything....hmmm, maybe they're just afraid of me.

Larry,

Shhh, don't tell anybody, but I'm a Yankee in disguise. So far, I think I've got most of 'em fooled though.

Bryan,

If you bring your 1894C and it comes up missing when you're ready to leave, don't look in my truck, it won't be in there. I swear.
[jedi mind-trick on] This isn't the rifle you're looking for. [jedimind-trick off]

Do y'all allow Yankees to shoot with you?

Couple of Yankee's right here as well. Well sort of RIT's, Redneck's In Training, but still Yankee's. I don't think they ever really accept you. Since they are still fighting the war of Northern Aggression I think they think we are just spies or something but they are friendly enough........unless they are really plotting.:scrutiny:

Actually we are all such a mishmash of people it's amazing. We have Florida, Maryland, Russia, Azerbaijin, New Jersey and I think one or two of us might actually be from TN.:D

The more the merrier let us know if you need a place to crash.

hmmm, maybe they're just afraid of me.
.....we are.:uhoh:

Well obviously not this time, not enough time to plan. But I would like to come there sometime this year. The wife even mentioned it the other day after the Labgrade memorial picnic.
The more the merrier let us know if you need a place to crash.
Thank you for the offer, sir!

By the way, my great-grandad, Marion Grant Ashcraft, left Louisville KY in 1899 to come to Colorado, so I'm not really a Yankee. ;)
