Tough call to be sure; both are truly works of handgun art. But since I already think the Colt Model 1860 is pretty sexy I could easily be swayed by your Cimarron Model 1871-1872 Open Top!

I was thinking about that after I posted, it's hard to beat the sleek Colt open top sixguns. ;)

I'll have to take some new pics now that it's been fitted with real ivory.

Welldoya I think we both have the same pistol. But I Do enjoy mine but if you don't want to shoot it,that's your business. I will tell you that mine is a joy to shoot,it's got a great trigger everything is very smooth and a very accurate pistol. I've even killed a deer with it. Doubletap at about 30 yards with federal Hydrashock 124gr bullets. I love mine.

Actually, I've got two exactly alike. I shoot one of them. It's pretty much in the same shape as my NIB one but I do shoot it.

Something about the unfluted cylinder on the TALO GP100 just said "you MUST buy me". I've since swapped grips on both guns and the sights to fiber optic on the GP100.

I believe women are sexy, not inanimate objects.

There are some damn fine looking guns in this thread though.

I guess I could say which ever gun my girlfriend happens to pick up, because she makes it sexy.

My Steyr-Hahn complete with box (see sig) is pretty classy, but not in good enough shape to be 'sexy'
I have a couple modern pistols that are pretty cool (five-seven, Steyr SPP) but too plastic to be 'sexy'
Both the surplus Manurhin MR73 and SACM 1935A give the best tactile pleasure and were real lookers in their day, but alas no longer
And then there is the Mateba Unica 6 Autorevolver in 357; beautiful mixture of old school quality & materials with daring modern styling, a unique and fascinating action, and the air of exotic mystery-slash-fantasy that follows all mythical objects. Much like Mjolnir, it is far too heavy for any mere mortal to practically use, yet its recoil operation allows even a neophyte to deliver accurate rapid fire (weight, excellent SA trigger, highly accurate barrel, and respectble sights). And like the fabled hammer of Thor, the Mateba's smiths are long, long since out of business :D

I can't really decide ... the 1957 Colt National Match my wife got me for my birthday (I was born in '57 too)

Nice. You know, that ARES needs a 4" barrel on it for optimum kaboomination ;)
