From sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com. Its $289 shipped, too good to pass up! Unlike a lot of places, they will substitute a 10 round magazine, being in Colorado and dealing with stupid laws.

My wife has one. Really nice for the money, and I'm more accurate with it than I am with my P95.

I like mine and since it has normal Novak cuts it's even easier to get sights for. I plan on cera coating the slide at some point.

I have a box full of 17 round mags anyway, for my SR9-C, so the 10 round issue is irrelevant, other than obtaining the gun.

I shopped all over the internet and nobody comes close to this price, most outlets want $340 + shipping.

Since my SR9-C fits me like a glove, I'm not worried about the feel of this, its basically the same pistol.

Same here; the SR9c is one of the most comfortable feeling guns in my hand, next to my Hi-Power and CZ P01. Likewise with the SR9 and 9e; just wanted a compact size gun instead of another full size model.

And great price on the Ruger 9e!

I got mine when Cabela's had them on sale for 299 and I had $20 Cabela's bucks coupon and a bunch of points on my card ended up OTD for under 200.

Got my 9E last year, same price, same store. IMO, one of the best shooters out there. My one wish is Ruger would have made a 9E compact.

Like mavracer said the Novak cut, which also moves the rear sight all the way to the end of the slide unlike the SR9, to me, makes it a better buy.

Ruger should offer a 15rd mag

As opposed to the 17 rounder that they come with?

One thing that bugs me is the price of Ruger magazines for all their guns. I stock up on mags when I see them for a good price on the 2-pack. Makes me sick when I see AR 30rd. Magpul or Glock mags for a fraction of the price.

After an e-mail exchange, they agreed to ship the gun without the magazine, there are no 10 round mags for this gun. That is awesome and they are the first company I've run into, that are willing to do that.

The 9e is my nightstand gun, complete with tac-light and 17-round mag. It's had 2,000 rounds through it and has yet to fail in any way. It's dead-on accurate, with a fantastic trigger. I got it for $300 including shipping a couple of years back.
