Ok folks being the holidays what kind of gifts did you get this year?

Me I got some gift cards and cash that very well may become a new savage 22 FV-SR

I am just getting around and will join the festivities/kids at a different location soon. Will report back later. I think that we ALL got an early present after the electoral college voted though. Y'all have fun today.:D

Indeed we did. The best in many years.

I bought eight new tires and two frontend alignments for mama's car and my pickup last week.....that's about all the Xmas my wallet could handle. :)

Hi...
Very nice Christmas around here.
My wife got the new living room furniture she was hoping for, my son just bought his first house so we got him a bunch of stuff for the kitchen and a Sony 55" 4K HD TV for entertainment.
My family bought me some military history books plus a brand new cherry bookcase for the den...I had built-in bookcases that I filled up in less than two years, so I had been stacking newly acquired books on the desk and tables in the den. This bookcase is enormous, so it will serve my needs until I can build new bookcases in the soon to be available spare bedroom.

A case tumbler, now my reloads will be shiny :). Also got a Buck knife to replace the one confiscated at airport earlier this year.

Merry Christmas THR, I gave myself a present of a Remington M1903-A3 that I bought this week. And I got a replacement barrel and action for a buggered up Arisaka Type 38 with a messed up chamber. Got it the week before last, built it up this week and shot it on Thursday. WooHoo!
Oh, and got some shirts, and other things.
Gave my wife $100 so she can get some new sandals, shoes and whatever else she wants. The one caveat, it must not be spent on the kids, me, or anyone else, only on her!

A buddy gave me a box with one 9MM bullet, with a note that the rest would be coming later. So, sounds like I'll be reloading some more 9MM.

Uh-oh.....the old fogey parents ordered HK 45 magazines, not HK P-30 magazines, so now have make a return. Probably won't have them until the end of the week, oh well.

Got a Western style holster, belt and a knife from a semi local knife maker. Plus some gift cards. I think it is always a wonderful Christmas when you can afford to buy for everybody else. Many here and across the country may not wake up to much this morning. I feel very blessed!

I got tires and alignment for both vehicles. Also a furnace that my friend helped me put in ( always a great gift to have friends that will help). He is also the only one that stayed around during my moms 10 year demise from dementia. All the spendable cash is gone. So that is itmfor the wife and I. Got a 5 point in the back yard last week. Not exactly on Christmas, but, sure seemed like a gift from someone. And best of all three dozen homeade cookies my 87 year old dad made.

Merry Christmas to you all. Gun wise its been a fine day with four new 30 round mags for my M&P Sport AR 15 and a carrying case for the Browning .270. Several gift cards, which will be converted to .223 ammo.

Otherwise, a large bottle of Chivas Regal and 6 new books, including, Pearl Harbor: From Infamy to Greatness, which being a WWII buff, looks like a real winner.

A snappy sport jacket from my wife was most appreciated. I feel truly blessed.

My wife found me a phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range. OK, it's a tee shirt but it IS gun related and kind of "nerdy" too. :)
Also got a new Molan Labe hat in the Greek lettering and a copy of "Jack Hinson's One-Man War.
Merry Christmas everyone.

Practically my entire list was shooting related. Got cleaning brushes and patches, a new IWB holster, grips for the 1911, Williams peep and fiber optic for the Marlin, cold blue for the same (turned out great), and, last week, my wife told me to order an M&P .40 when I showed her that Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore had them for $400 (will pick it up on Tuesday). Got a few surprises, too. My oldest got a youth bow from us, and is anxious to get out and try it. We managed to do pretty good in the giving department, as well, so it has been a great Christmas all around. Merry Christmas, everyone!

I was blessed with some walnut gun grips and a new galco holster for my 686+, as well as a Dallas Cowboys long sleeved t-shirt.

New Surefire light and laser combo for my Glock.
3 new Buck knives and a helicopter.
40 minutes to charge for a 5 minute flight. Glad I'm patient.:)
I bought my son a new 1911. and my daughter a women's 2 day gun course.
I told her I would buy her the pistol of her choice after she has a chance to shoot a few and decide what she likes.

A MagPul ASAP single point sling attachment that doesn't fit an A2 buttstock.

Back to Midway it goes... :(

On the PLUS side... Sweeney's "Gunsmithing the AR-15" Volumes I & II, Kuhnhausen's S&W Revolvers manual, and a $50 gift card to Cabela's (which will be spent on some .30 caliber A-Max bullets...)

The Winner of the gifts that I received was a 101 year-old electric toaster (with a cage on each side that can be easily turned to toast its piece of bread on both sides) that both looks great and still works.

Ayup, I like old firearms and kitchen appliances. :D

Got a new Zero Tolerance knife I've been looking at for the last 3 or 4 months. It's carbon fiber and titanium with a 4" blade and is only 3.6 ozs.

One of the gift boxes my wife gave me for Christmas contained four Louis L'Amour novels, the titles of which I had not read before... One can never go wrong with a little L'Amour... and a mint-condition Marlin 1894 FG that I found 6 weeks ago! Long story short, it arrived at my FFL last week. I gave it a going-over, an action cleaning and a little whitlin' on the lever and carrier. It's now clean, function-tested and in my safe. Merry Christmas!
