Do you guys prefer the RED or YELLOW for my book cover title? As you might imagine, the book has tons (really, a LOT) of guns and shooting, so I hope it's okay to post this here. I'd really like your opinions.

Thanks,
Jay

Red!
Where can I get the book? Oh----and when? Looks interesting!

Hi. I plan on publishing it electronically on Amazon. It's coming along pretty well, but is a load of work. I'm shooting for inauguration day, though—figuratively, of course :) (the climax of the story happens on inauguration day). You'll be able to read it on a Kindle, or if you don't have one (I don't!), there's free software you can install on your PC or laptop, or Mac and just read it on your computer.

I didn't know if it was okay to post this kind of thing here, but my post hasn't been deleted yet. I'll definitely come back here and let you guys know when it's out. Hopefully, the moderators will allow that. I know that a lot of the folks here are of the same mind as me (and as the protagonist in the book), so I'm hoping some of you would enjoy it. Just one guy's take on some of the things that could happen in this kind of scenario.

Thanks,
Jay

Looks like a great read. I voted yellow because it just shows up better. I think the title might register in my brain on a shelf a tad quicker with yellow but they both look good.
What if you could fade from yellow at top to red at base?
Yeah, there ya go.

The red makes me think of a dire warning or bloodshed. Which goes with the blood on the grass by the tree and blood in the Jefferson quote.

The yellow seems to soften the book away from what I'm thinking the target market might be.

If you tried to sell that book to the masses, I'm thinking having white letters of "Revolution" without blood on the grass would move more inventory. But I don't know the content to know if that would matter.

I'm just thinking out loud here.

Yellow stands out more. Plus I'm not sure how the red will look to red-green color-blind people; who will be almost surely be male and thus a "target" of this book.

Red.

Pro:The whole cover would then echo the sentiment of one of our founders, "The tree of freedom must be periodically watered with the blood of tyrants." (Approximate quote.)

It's also a "provocative" color.

Con: Yellow is the brightest primary color and would attract the eyes of buyers in the bookstores more... if any bookstores are left.

Terry,

The quote you're thinking of is at the top of the book cover. :) Thanks for your thoughts!
