Thank you Kershaw and Husqvarna

Let me just start off the back by saying any small hatchet or tomahawk wouldve done the same thing. This past thursday I was on the road to work early in the morning, when a buck ran across the road from out of nowhere and my instant reaction was to swerve. I ended up hitting a power pole and flipped the vehicle over on the drivers side door. The vehicle started filling up with smoke but I couldnt get my self free from the seatbelt , luckily my kershaw blackout was still clipped to my pocket so it made quick work of that belt. Next I grabbed the small swedish hatchet I keep by the drivers door to break the back window and crawl out. Just wanted to share that quick story and give a kudos to those companies products.

Other than a few bruises and sprains Im fine. Ya shoulda seen the the look on the EMT's faces several of them flat out told me I shouldnt be here.

Glad you are OK. I never considered keeping an axe in the door pocket of my car, but I will re-think that.

My mother carries an expandable baton in hers, I just figured the axe would be more versatile if I ever needed it, proved to be true.
