Let me just start off the back by saying any small hatchet or tomahawk wouldve done the same thing. This past thursday I was on the road to work early in the morning, when a buck ran across the road from out of nowhere and my instant reaction was to swerve. I ended up hitting a power pole and flipped the vehicle over on the drivers side door. The vehicle started filling up with smoke but I couldnt get my self free from the seatbelt , luckily my kershaw blackout was still clipped to my pocket so it made quick work of that belt. Next I grabbed the small swedish hatchet I keep by the drivers door to break the back window and crawl out. Just wanted to share that quick story and give a kudos to those companies products.

Barry the Bear

Great to hear that you're alright! Definitely a huge plus that you had your knife and hachet handy to affect your escape.

I'm glad to hear you are OK.

It sounds like your own preparation deserves even more credit than the tools themselves.

Glad you're okay, good thing you were prepared.

We keep El cheapo lockback knives clipped to
The visors of our vehicles. Our friend hung upside down from her seat belt in her overturned vehicle. Finally a Samaritan came down the rural road and cut her down.

Her accident was similar to yours.
