anybody out there have any experience with Inter Ordnance AKs? They are American made in Florida, I messed up and bought a few in case Hillareee got elected and just put them in my safe. I looked at a couple of them and the front posts are bent, simple fix, but just wondering what else I might run into.

You might want to check out the AKFiles or AKOU 47-74. They have a lot to say about the IO AKs. Or maybe Google "Rob Ski + IO" on You Tube". There is a lot of info out there.

I have one and have fired close to 500 rounds through it. The only problem I had was after I installed an aftermarket flash hider I began experiencing FTE's. Put the original back on and haven't had a single problem since. I've been pleasantly surprised by the accuracy. Both pictured are 200 yd. targets.

The best thing was when everyone else was gouging AK prices a few months ago, I bought this AKM new for $499 from Sarco.

Most of the folks over on the AKFILES forum simply parrot others findings and don't have any firsthand experience with the I.O. I wouldn't worry too much about the quality of your I.O.'s unless you plan on throwing them in the creek, running over them, dropping them on concrete, etc. Remember to the I.O.'s have a lifetime warranty.

All this is NOT to dis Rob because his testing is well thought out and executed, but IMHO not applicable to your typical AK owner/shooter.

Run Away. Check out the vids the other users posted. They are notorious for problems. Also lots of other reviews on youtube and the web with documented problems. Look into a WASR for one that wont break the bank
