Found this at an antique mall in Springfield, OH today. Nice weight to it, about 4 inch blade.

Bowens were great knives and that's in great condition.

They're the legendary belt buckle knife company.
 
Looks like they made nice knives, just really hard to find any information on. I like your folder, looks brand new from the pic. I think I'd have to carry that one.

They made some very nice knives back in the day though I wasn't aware they made any fixed blade knives like the one you found. I don't carry my folder all that often; it's my "fancy dress" knife that I have with me on special occasions, (sort of like a knife version of the BBQ gun).

This my other "fancy" knife that I like take along for dressed-up events: my Gerber Trendy.

do they still make these knives?

A quick visit to their website has the Bowen Knife Company still making their Belt Knife which features a concealed buckle-knife sheathed within the belt. All other knife patterns have long been out of production.
