I saw a lightly used lcrx 3" at a lgs for $389 out the door.
I bought one a couple of years ago from J&G & it is a little worn finish-wise, but a true Smith & and well worth $350. Lock-up, accuracy, and internals are top-notch.I think the best deal in that price range is the Smith and Wesson model 10 trade ins.
They're just .38s, but we will look back one day and wish they were that price again. One day soon.

the discription says it all, looking for a reliable budget revolver 357/38
Someone said EAA windercator.
The 66 is a K-Frame; the 586 & 686 are L-frames.Lots of people hate Taurus, but I have had no complaints about their revolvers (or beretta copies either) for the money, your not likely going to beat an 85 (38 snub) for defense or a 66 (L frame .357) for all other purposes. Mine was more accurate than my Smith 686 is.

J&G has Model 10s for $299.95:Police trade-ins are a great source for bargin revolvers. The link below is for Centerfire Systems who I have found are great folks to deal with. I was able to get one of the S&W 640s for $325 which was in very good shape. The model 10 trade-ins would be a good options.

Correct, and thanks for clearing that up.I believe he meant the Taurus 66. It's actually the size of the Smith 686.
Smith 66 =/= Taurus 66.
If those are G/VG (good to very good) then I would hate to see fair. They look pretty rough. Looks like they are re-imports, with the hideous CAI import markings on the side plate.J&G has Model 10s for $299.95:
