All-

I've had a hard time verifying this, but I'm assuming the Colt 6951 has an F-Marked front sight base as do their other guns. But before dropping some serious coin on another carry handle, I'd like to make sure I'm getting one for the proper height front sight, rather than dealing with the extended post.

Especially now that Brownell's has the SP64987 carry handle back in stock, I just want to confirm that that would be the proper fit.

Thanks!

PSA sometimes has their carry handle on sale. Its forged, mil spec same forging as the Colt part. I have an extra one if you need it.

I've got a PSA carry handle on my homebuilt 20" ... great carry handle but that etched logo drives me nuts! Stupid little thing I know, but I'd certainly pay a few bucks more to NOT have that logo etched on my carry handle.

I can't find the marking on mine, but this is how mine came delivered

So I believe you should be GTG unless they changed something else.....

No issues zeroing? They changed around the configuration a bit (dropped the carry handle, and put on the standard M4 stock again).

From what I've heard, they're F-marked height FSB's but not F-marked if that isn't confusing enough!

Which would go a long ways explaining why I couldn't find the mark! I never zero'd the handle sights went straight to a BUIS and an Aimpoint Patrol Optic in a Larue mount. Everything zero'd fine. As a matter of fact I had it out yesterday and this morning (about 400 rds) getting used to a new Geissele SSA-E trigger.
