Keymod Harris Bipod mount

I have a daniel defense V11 and I want a temporary bipod mount. Basically the rifle will be shot like a carbine, i.e. unsupported or using a tree or a knee for 90% of its life, but for load development I want to be able to slap a bipod on it. there are lots of options to mount a harris bipod on a keymod rail, but I don't want to spend $30 on an accessory that will make it to the range twice a year or so. I have a bipod already, so I just need a recommendation for a decent bipod mount.

but I can't tell it if will mout to my V11. their video's show the Evo rail version, not a keymod.

I am not looking for a cheap airsoft accessory, but something of decent quality. any experience?

If you're looking for quality about $30 is the price point I've found. I found a rail mounted swivel stud (I believe its a Caldwell brand) for about $14 and threw an extra keymod rail section ($6) on my rail to attach it too. And its not perfect either, but it works ok. I should have went with a better(longer) rail that engaged more slots to make it stronger. BUT, if you get a setup like mine it can go on any rifle witha rail section or a swivel stud, so the bipod can bounce around on various rifles. Just my $0.02

Is there any reason to not just drill and tap a sling swivel stud right into the handguard?

It may or may not be more expensive than what you want; I don't know. I have found GG&G accessories to be extremely high quality and they've been great people to deal with. They design and make their own stuff right here in the USA I do believe. At least check out their web site and see if they have what you want. (Regarding the "lesser priced" options out there... I've done that and every single time I've been disappointed with what I got. I ended up literally trashing a Caldwell bipod one time and replacing it with something of better build quality.) Daniel Defense for $50 is on my bench/prone long range gun using a Harris bipod.

I dont have the tools to properly drill and tap it

I am going to call samson on Monday and see if it works, if not the gg&g might be the ticket,

The daniel defense is too expensive for a temporary mount for a carbine with a red dot imo
