I would like to add a 5.5" to my collection. I have not found one in years. They are asking over $1,000 bucks for that model on the gun broker.Picked up a new (to me) Old Army today with aftermarket grips.

Would you report back on how the 5.5" ROA shoots? I am most interested. Thx.Thanks for the comments guys! Going to take it out and shoot it on Friday.
Bishop Creek,
Shame on you! Go get that thing dirty!!
I have 11 ROA revolvers. I would like to find a reasonably priced 5.5" like yours. I have some fired and some used. I just missed a 7.5" SS unfired in the box last weekend.
That is what I am looking for also is a shooter. That would be a nice gun for walking in the desert and shooting at Jack Rabbits.
Very very nice. That's a beauty!!! Congrats to you!
Getting expensiveWas perusing Gunbroker last week and saw this 5.5inch stainless ROA sell for $1225!
No box or papers either.

I've heard of a 5.5" pair of fixed sight stainless that sold for $2200Getting expensive
That's crazy.I've heard of a 5.5" pair of fixed sight stainless that sold for $2200
I would never spend that kind of money. I wish I could go back in time and invest in a few of those.BullSlinger, Both of those price references from yesterday were from actual sales. I think it's because most folks don't want to give up their 5.5 ROAs but with enough money on the table, some folks reconsider how bad they really need it.
It is not likely that they will ever be produced again and there isn't anything really comparable out there in production.
