What do you do with your carry gun when you are home?

I carry a SIG P238 .380 in a right front pants pocket holster, at all times, as well as at home. Basically, it's on me or on my bed side table 24/7/365. Oh yes, hanging on a towel rack, when I'm in the shower.

Post #19 is incorrect. While open carry is indeed legal in Ohio, it is NOT legal for a person without a CCW permit to have access to a loaded firearm in a vehicle.

Same here. I put the holster on with my belt, and take it off with my belt.

What do you do with your carry gun when you are home?
It goes with a secure holster in a bed headboard nook with the maglight and the radio handset tuned to National Weather Service. Near the charging cellphone by the alarm clock on the night table with a fire extinguisher on the floor.
Unless I have a new carry holster, then I will wear it about the house until I am confident the gun and holster will stay secure and concealed during daily routine.

Sitting on the table next to me, or the sofa, or the counter, carrying it around on my belt out of the house and in my hand in the house.

Im in CA, so no carry here outside the home ( though we have property in AZ where we carry openly without worry).

While in CA, in home it's either in my pocket, or at night in a padded pouch right between nightstand and mattress.
When I leave it's cabled and locked in the small safe until I walk back in the door.
In AZ, its on my hip, in my pocket, and/or right beside me.... just because I can.

Carry it, it's what it is.

Goes by my bed, on the table, or on my desk. Somewhere I'll have easy access to it.

My HD gun is mounted to my bed frame and is presented in the holster when the safe opens. Standing in the rear under the latch are two spare magazines and I put my CCW in the bottom when not wearing it. If I need to open the safe at night, the CCW is available for my wife if she needs it. I always pocket carry a small.380 when at home.
