After many small shops moding the Buck 110 into push button kick spring autos, the company has now made a completely Buck coil spring auto with a smooth action.

LOL
Once upon a time, they modified the 110 so that it was nearly impossible to flick open, in reaction to (extra) silly laws passed about "gravity" knives. The revised models were marked with stars on both ends of the 110.
It takes really special congress critters to outlaw gravity. :neener:

Nice. I want one.
I own a Buck 110 auto but it was modified by a third party. I previously owned another one that I liked much better than the one I have now but I ended up losing it. So I have never had the guts to carry the replacement. It is sitting in my gun safe in pristine condition :(

I've had the coil spring break in autos. It doesn't look like that one could be replaced without rebuilding the whole knife.

Or, is it old school kick spring?

But, I love the Buck 110.

All springs break. Cheap springs break sooner than good springs and those break quicker than excellent springs. Buck's coil springs will be excellent.

You know, the Vallotons used to make Sebenza and Umnuumzaan auto conversions that were just ridiculously slick. Chris unfortunately threatened to sue and they had to stop.
