The price on them has definitely gone up, they were <$300.00 in 2015, they're going for $481.00 and up if you order them from Trimports

Dang, Turkey is getting quite a handgun industry. I've been tempted to try one of their 1911's, like the IAC. Thanks for the heads-up, C0untZer0.

Nice to see another DA revolver becoming available. Looks decent enough but a little bit pricey. Would like to see how it does once it gets out there in the marketplace before I would consider getting one.

Their semi-auto's have a reputation for good machining and working well, but I don't think most folks would buy them if they cost as much as the guns they're copying. That said, I think the price point on the revolver is too high to be a 'value' purchase against Ruger and S&W.

I think Trimports is setting that price. Two years ago these revolvers were scarce, but they were going for less than $300.00

"This would be a hard sell against a GP100 or 686."

For a handgun enthusiast I agree but where can you get a GP100 or Smith for under $500?

The cosmetics certainly could use a little tweaking. The website lists the finishes as White chrome and black chrome. On this picture, the stainless (looking) gun has a black crane, and a chrome rear sight strap. Three colors on one gun is not my taste, but others may not mind.

I wonder if there will also be grip inter-changeability from other brands. From what little I can see, the grip appears very Smith and Wessonish.

Price does seem a little steep, but hey it might have an excellent action. I would like to handle one.

Mmmm...I'd like to see the other side of that chrome version; that black crane's got to be 'odd', visually.

Pretty much in agreement with everyone who says they would be interested in these revolvers in the $350 to $400 range. Significantly over that then I would really have to be totally amazed by the gun to buy one. Probably not going to happen but I'm hopeful it turns out to be a decent buy.

has anyone seen these at any other online retailers....i'm among tose thaat aren't big fans of CTD, despite wanting one of these.... hemiram, please let us know your impressions. ii'd really like to get my hands on one someday

MSRP is usually Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price.
I have found MSRP is often Maximum Suggested Retail Price and the usual wholesale price plus dealer markup is usually lower.
Looks like an interesting gun, but I have a stainless Ruger Security Six and added Hogue grips. I hope it is a good .357 revolver for those who want one but don't have one.

For extreme (unintentional) styling, I did see a S&W with blue frame, black cylinder, and plum barrel. And I remember that ST episode from back in its day (it was rerun recently on MeTV too).
