DoubleH, the 2 1/2" belt has an 8-9 ounce outer and a thin leather liner and a soft suede outer liner that provides rigidity and the suede provides retention on clothes. With over 2#s of handgun and a couple pounds of cat'ridges and mags, the rig rides very comfortable.

You definitley have more rear end than I do then. I could just see me strapping all that weight on. It wouldn't stay up more than a few steps.

Rear end and hips are the most difficult areas to custom fit. If they ask for a 15 degree cant, they sometimes neutralize the cant. Down under the Dunlop in front and high in the caboose in the rear.
If one does not have any hips or rear end, then suspenders hooked to the rig will work wonders.
