Nice to meet to Eastbank, pity we could not have had more time for a lengthy hunt debrief.

Really looking forward to the pictures once you have recovered from the long trip.

hi andrew, good to meet you even if for a very short time. out flight was to leave at 2:15 and when we went to check our bags at a little after 12:00 we were told it was leaving early and was boarding then. we had to move very quckly to get on. damn qatar airlnes. as i have shot most of the common plains animals before i didn,t shoot many this time, two kudu cows ,7 impala, one wort hog, one wildibeast, 1 baboon and several guines. but my friend luther did very well, 1 wildibeast, 1 zebra, 1 waterbuck, 1 kuda cow, 1 very nice kuda bull(56"), 7 impala and 1 dikke. i,ll get more pictures up later. eastbank.

That Warthog is amazing! That would be a very cool mount to have for sure! Looks like you had a most excellent time and I'm sure one you'll remember well. Glad to hear you made it back to this side of the world safely. So, what exactly do you do with a babboon? And is it difficult to shoot as they closely resemble humans as far as their behavior and whatnot?

i shot this worthog last year and it is the biggest of the 8 i have shot. baboons are considered vermin and terrorize any thing they can, there is no love lost on them there. this woman spends her day trying to chase them out of the orange groves with a slingshot with out much success as they just go around her. eastbank.

That hog is awesome. For the record the meat is excellent in smoked cheese grillers, they tend to be very rich though but like troopers we soldier our way through them.

Understandably so, I was just curious as to if YOU felt any differently about shooting them only because of their humanlike appearance/actions. I can completely understand shooting them because they can be a threat to people's livelihood.

i can see where some one may feel that way and i don,t have a problem with that, but for me after talking with the land owner about the damage they cause, i look at them like rats. they will go up a row of orange trees and take single bites from a orange and grab another one, a group(10-40) of them will work over several rows of orange trees in a short time. eastbank.
