Will not go NEAR any of their garbage!!
.

What kind of issues have you had with it? I have only shot 100 rounds of their .45 Colt, but they were fine, and loaded in unfired Starline Brass. I plan on getting more if the price is as good as last time.

Yep for fake factory ammo the headstamp and the same looking type of bullet should match the box. Plated RN instead of FMJ etc. Our range is OK with reloads but requires lead only and 1000 FPS max.

Yeah, but I already own the hollow points and have loaded them into cases. II don't own any plated round nose.

Besides today I'm 210 days from retirement and I'm going to the farm over Independence Day, so I will have a chance to shoot to my heart's delight at a range where I get to set the policies. Except that the 93 year old guy who still lives there and has self-anointed himself as Range Officer is a real stickler about enforcing the policies. ;)

The local gun club is an indoor range, gun shop, restaurant, etc. all rolled into one.

I reported previously that they would not let you keep your fired cases. That turns out not to be entirely correct. You can harvest any of your brass that is "behind the line", but when they poured the floor, they built in a slope so that all but the most oddly positioned cases will roll forward into a trench from which the range collects them and will sell them back to you a few days later as "processed" brass. Of course, at that point, the information I could glean from the fired brass is long gone. So, I don't go there with anything other than rimfire.

Heck I would take a piece of square rubber or such (old cut V belt etc.) and stretch it across in a line just short of the firing line to catch my brass from going down hill.;) That is also where I would use my stock of once fired aluminum Blazer reloads. Then they can have the empties.

So you need same headstamp for fake factory?

Well yes, I would think if it's a Remington box and they happen to look at the inside it would be awkward to see assorted headstamps.:)

I really do not know the check in procedure yet or how closely they monitor the whole thing.

Sometimes it's just nice to go shoot and not reload, Heck I have fun shooting a AK or pinj 22lr and not do the brass stoop and bend routine.

I don't smoke or drink (anymore) so it's my bar tab:)

You can use a handheld or rail mounted brass catcher for your pistols. ;)

I have the big Caldwell net and I have the 3Bucc for my AR's. Caldwell makes a copy of it now which works well.

Ain't strapping nothing to my arm or handguns.:)

I bought Magtec 9mm fmj from Brownells, free shipping and $20 off for $9.99 a box of 50

I cannot speak for 9mm but I have found independence 5.56 ammo to be really bad. 1g spread in powder charge, .1" spread in oal, primers popping out and causing jams, and 5" at 50 yard groups.
I will not shoot it in my guns ever

Rule3, I thought you had a coupon or something from one of the sellers that kind of made them the go-to seller?
