I bought some of this "Browning"/ Winchester ammo 40 gr. 1345 fps. The bullets are slightly oversize & won't chamber & extract in my single shot Chipmunk or my Marlin model 60. They worked just fine in my Russian made Winchester wildcat & my Cz 452. I was surprised it worked in my cz as its got a tight barrel. Accuracy was ok & no misfires in the bolt guns. A round got stuck in my Marlins chamber with another trying to chamber. It was a chore to clear both rounds. From now on if I want ammo to work in all my guns its stingers, Remington hv golden bullets or federal. All Winchester .22 that I have tried lately had oversized bullets.

I have long found Winchester .22s among the best in my guns. Remingtons have long disappointed me. But, the only time I had one fire OOB was a Winchester. No damage to the rifle though.
My .22LR guns run the gamut from cheap mass market guns to tight-bored heavy barreled match and target rifles.

The Browning .22s would not chamber in my single six or savage bolt-action. Did just fine in my buckmark

Last time Browning actually manufactured something was in late 1800s when they made some single shot rifles. The ammo is made for Browning by Winchester.
