I'd rather pay a little more from an online gun shop that treats customers with respect. Bud's did not let me make a purchase because the billing address associated with my credit card was a house that I have in CA, but I was having the firearm shipped to a gun dealer in my home state of PA where I have a house and am a bonfide resident. When I told the customer service rep that the "store policy" that he was hiding behind was bs since I could just call my bank and have the address associated with my home in PA or use a different card, he said that he would not conspire with me to do anything illegal which really pissed me off because 1) nothing I did or said that I could do was even borderline illegal and 2) it showed a grave lack of understanding of gun laws on the part of Bud's. I hung up, paid $5 more and ordered the same gun from centerfireguns.com without issue.
I've bought guns from AIMSurplus (my favorite), JGSales, Centerfire Guns, Impact Guns, Prepper Gun Shop, Classic Firearms, and Southern Ohio Gun and all have been pain free and they treat you like royalty if there is a question or concern. Bud's made me feel like an ATM machine.
