Not really, but it's amazing how many people come away from movies thinking they've learned something. It didn't start with Dirty Harry, but there's no doubt it sold many revolvers to people who didn't need them!

Don't know how many of you have seen NICK OF TIME, with Johnny Depp and Christopher Walken, but it's a great film. (The only person I like watching more than Christopher Walken impersonators is Christopher Walken.) But I could only imagine how someone who didn't know anything about guns might walk away from the film thinking they had learned something.

If you haven't seen the film, you'll probably enjoy it. I'm not a big Johnny Depp fan but I enjoy many of his movies.

Since depp is an avowed Anti-Gun Idiot, I refuse to waste $$ seeing any of his movies!!!
WHY help to promote and enrich him when he wants to kill our hobby and sport???

I'm waiting for one of those TOTALLY silent SILENCERS , that work on revolvers* or autos. I'd like to hear a barely perceptible "thump" ,versus the SNAP I hear now. The sound that 007's PPK made in "Dr No" is what I want.

*They even go "thump" when using full boat .357 mag ammo too!

Also want some of that 9mm ammo that SPARKS when it hits...most anything. As well as being able to penetrate D7 Cat buckets.

Same for the ammo that allows the good guys to shoot helicopters or fixed wing aircraft from the sky with a 9mm.

I'd like to have a single action in 45 Colt that has no recoil, or one of those

shotguns where you can destroy a car that has no recoil.

eh...funny, but no. This is more about movies (and criticisms of) than about a real and fact-based firearm-related discussion.
