Firing Blanks

It's going to depend on what a court decides is "readily." Perhaps it's readily convertible if it's just a matter of changing the barrel and cylinder and they're replaceable. The only way to know is to see if there are some cases addressing the question. I'm not going to go looking though.
 
Here in a rural subdivision in So. Indiana, I discharge my Winchester 10 gauge signal cannon with blanks. The only occasional calls I get are from neighbors with dogs that start barking. I am accepted on July 4th, other than that, they may complain after 1 or 2 shots, then I stop.
