Bought a used 930 tactical that looked like new and from all appearances had a very low round count...$350 out the door. It ran about 25 shells without a hitch... mixed lot of shells ranging from light field loads to 3" hotter than hell turkey loads and tactical buckshot. Then all of a sudden she won't feed back. Then she drops two shells on the carrier at one time completely jamming the gun. Sometimes you guess wrong on a used gun. I bought the gun "as is" so nothing to complain about. I'm not new to auto shotguns. Figured it had to be the shell latch so I replaced it after stoning the face of the latch and breaking the front edge down slightly with a stone. Still won't run so at this point it had to be the trigger group. Only problem was that Mossberg won't sell anyone a trigger group. Had to send ithe shotgun to their repair facility in Eagle Pass, Texas. They advised that it would take 8 to 10 weeks and that they would call me with an estimate before doing any work. That was two weeks ago. The gun showed up at my dealer's place today. They completely rebuilt the receiver except the shell latch for free!!!! I can't tell you how super impressed I am. I didn't BS them either. Told them I bought it used. Mossberg owed me nothing and stepped up anyway. Truly outstanding!
