I'm considering purchasing a Circuit Judge for the titles purpose. The fun part , plinking to target shooting at things say clay pigeons up too UFO's. The food part's, tree rats to a sasquatch anything in between. Really only care to hear from owners of these about their experience with this rifle. Reliability. function, finish, fit, etc. Are they decent or hot pot metal? Again only seeking to hear from owners with their findings. Thanks in advance.

The have a non choked rifled barrel so don't expect that to pattern worth a darn at more than 5 yards with birdshot. Shooting clays or hunting is probably not going to be realistic. You would be better served with an over under or pump 410 shotgun

Thanks for the realistic reply. Kinda what I have been thinking also. Guess maybe better to look at other options.

You know...
If you're shooting at a rabbit, there will be a rabbit shaped hole in the center of the pattern. A squirrel leaves a squirrel shape, etc.
No, really.....
I thought I would let my young son use my 12ga rifled slug gun with a scope for turkey season. We have a blind, and I was expecting a close shot.....but the pattern was unusable. There was a big spread, and nothing in the center.

Issue is the rifled barrel. Shot fired out of one flies in a spiral sending the shot who knows where an leaving big holes in the pattern. Mind you, it'd certainly be fun as a big kid's toy, but you'd starve. Nothin' worse than having the tree rats and Sasquatch laughing at you either. snicker.

I did shoot one at the range once with .45 Colt loads. Interesting to be sure, enjoyable, but not really a "plinker" due to the high price of .410 shotshells and factory .45 Colt ammo. If you reload that could negate that, but I'd much rather have a .45 Colt levergun.

Thanks. I do reload 45c but I only shoot it out of revolvers and love this round and its many reincarnations of it but alas I have no rifles chambered for it. Maybe in the future.
