Sweet. I purchased one of the .45 Shields mid April. It was just too hard to not jump on that rebate which by the way I just received yesterday. And a heads up guys, that rebate check is a really small size and the envelope looks like junk mail. It would really be easy to toss it if you weren't paying close attention.
Got it for $277 (after rebate) shipped and paid $20 to transfer. Almost like I stole it.

I got the 9mm Shield for the $320 price tag before the $75 rebate. Hope it pans out for my daughter-in-law (her b'day gift).

Yes it is. The m&p line is a great value especially since the 2.0 version came out. You can find police trades even cheaper

Yesterday I sold a S&W M&P40C with Night Sights and three magazines my distributor had at a discounted price. New in Box and Out the Door it was right at $450, making it $375 net after the current rebate (Illinois buyers get $75 instead of the ammunition and extra magazines deal going on now). That seemed like a good deal to the customer - I wish I could justify getting one myself, but after the S&W M&P Shield45 I bought last month (that rebate deal is pretty sweet), I better hold off.
There sure are a lot of good deals for gun buyers at this time. ColoradoShooter77 certainly got one of them at that price paid.

The gun is phenomenal, very accurate, feels awesome in the hand, love it! I bought an x-grip adapter and a couple full size 15 round magazines, that's a sweet set-up.
Dare I say, I like this gun more than my SR40-C, which is a great gun in its own right.

Even the new 2.0 is reasonably priced, and I have been so tempted to try one. No doubt there are some deals on the original right now, which a lot of people were super happy with, so they should be great pistols for great prices. If any one was thinking of getting one, now would be a good time to look for a deal. ColoradoShooter77 found his.
