Crossbow scope or sights?

My father got a crossbow and we are looking to out some kind of scope or sights. I am curious to the ability to put iron sights or a regular scope like my rifle. I don't really want a trueglo sights on it, but to put iron sights would be cool if they come in multi stage

Scopes can be problematic like they are it air rifles. The dynamics of the system are different than with firearms scopes and you might find them shaken off target.

I have the Nikon Bolt XR on my crossbow and love it. It has the BDC reticle. You can't beat it for the price!

You need to slow your roll...........
looking cool .......Course if that`s what you want , go for it.
You father bought the C/B but you don`t like the sight.

Probably the least helpful post I have seen here in quite sometime. He didn't say anything about trying to make the crossbow look cool. He said it would be cool if he could use irons.
