Just called and talked to Steve about a old Redfield sight base I was looking for. He has them - new mfg at resonable prices. Said he'd get it the mail today with an invoice. Asked about paying and he said send me a check or MO when you get it. Not many like him around anymore. If your looking for sight or scope mounting parts take a look at his web site !

I have some Earle target scope blocks, good little pieces.
But he also makes rifle actions. I have only seen one rifle built on his Frank Wesson No 1 and it was a handsome piece. Hell for stout, makes a Sharps look svelte.
