Reloading Valley??

Have not used them before, but have used pulled bullets a number of times and have generally been satisfied with them.

Well, in spite of the fact that it seemed as if two-thirds of the products displayed were "out of stock" (cautionary in itself) and the web site carefully managed to not give a physical address or phone number, I found a product in stock that was compatible with what I reload and so placed a small order. I'll report on what happens (if anything).

I ordered some 125gr. .357 bullets from them Friday. They will be loaded as 38 Special practice rounds. When I get my delivery I'll leave a comment here and let everyone know how the service was and what the product is like.

I received a link on an Extreme Bullet e-mail and ordered 300 .38/.357 on 7/14, received 500 9mm on 7/19. Sent message to company using their "contact us", no response by 7/21. Sent e-mail to Extreme Bullets and received reply from Freedom Munition that Reloading Valley is a sister company. I sent picture of invoice and bullets. Freedom replied with "forwarded to Reloading Valley shipping department". I will report back.

I received an email with a UPS tracking number from Reloading Valley saying my package from them will be delivered tomorrow 7/26/17.

I ordered on the 16th (Sunday). Have still not received any e-mail from regarding the order. Went on the website over the weekend. There is a UPS tracking number shown in the order history. UPS says they received the package on the 21st (Friday) and it will be here on Thursday the 27th.

You can be the judge as to whether that's a timeframe you would be happy with.

I'll report back on the receipt, packaging and my impressions of the product when it arrives.

Sounds like USPS is involved.
I have had a few orders from other companies that were ups pick-up and then hand off to USPS for delivery that had long delivery dates, usually with economy shipping.

Since it's a sister company to Xtreme, slow shipping is to be expected, shoulda figured that one. But it is free so guess the price is right

Nope, your cynicism is misplaced. Had you read my post, you would have seen it is UPS who is estimating it will take 6 days (in addition to the 5 days it took the seller to tender the package to UPS) to get 350 bullets here. No UPS/USPS alliance deal here; this glacial pace is entirely "Brown's" doing.

The sellers I deal with that use USPS flat-rate boxes generally get their orders to me in three or four days.

I live in Florida the package is coming from as far away as Washington State. They are paying the shipping. If it takes a little long I don't care. I'm not paying for shipping and I got a good deal. What's to complain about?:)

Not complaining. Just taking umbrage at Englishmn's flippant assumption that if the shipping was slow - and it has been - it must have been the fault of the USPS.

My order is (according to UPS web site) is being delivered by UPS and not being handed off to the USPS. Supposed to be here this afternoon.

My shipment from Reloading Valley just arrived buy UPS and everything is in good condition and product is marked properly and appears to be in good condition.

Pretty much right on the money. Sampled 10 random bullets and all the same. Some are scuffed and very small dents in some but looks good for practice and plinking rounds. I'll load some up today and try them at the range tomorrow. Any major problems I'll report back here. Not expecting any as all looks good

My order (250 rounds of 223 FMJ & 100 rounds 357 XTP) arrived today. Was bearing an ORM-D sticker. The UPS driver acted like he was afraid to handle it and made me come to him. I told him it was just bullets not loaded ammunition, but he told me the sticker meant it was ammunition and had to be transported by ground which explains why it took UPS six days to get it here after Reloading Valley took five days to get the package to them..

The order was well packaged against damage or breakage of the plastic bags inside. I actually received 254 of the 223 bullets and 104 of the 357 bullets. Both were advertised on the website as being pulled and the packages both had a sticker saying "PULLED" so nobody could misunderstand what they were getting.

223 55gr FMJ - As you can see in the base of the bullets and the difference in cannelure, the bullets were from at least two different manufacturers.

rv 223 back crop.jpg

The bullets one the left (with the cannelure that just looks like it is just scratches on the surface of the jacket) averaged 54.8 grains, while the ones on the right (with the cannelure pressed well into the jacket) averaged 55.1 grains. For me that's not enough of a difference to sort them; I will use them interchangeably.

357 125gr XTP - I didn't take pictures of the XTPs since we pretty much all know what one looks like. One of the 357 bullets had serious tool marks making it unusable, but the rest were fine.

All were lightly tarnished but a 5 minute bath in some Lemi-Shine and hot water pretty much took care of that.

The prices for both were very reasonable. If price is your main concern and the slow shipping time and the possibility of getting a mixed lot doesn't bother you, then this is certainly a good place to get inexpensive bullets.

Thanks hd for the update. I may pick up some of the 40 and 223, with the warning that I need to hand sort each round for variance.
