I've very partial to smk 168gr OTP projectiles. I've NEVER had them not shoot well. That said, I'm having issues finding them locally, but I can find amax, eld match, and tipped match kings...

Anyone got preferences or experience between them? All paper punching

I can't depend on locally sourced bullets either. I will use Natchez Shooters Supplies, Midway USA, and Hunningtons for a lot of my bullets. By the time you factor in shipping and being able to buy in bulk it is about a wash. That is if you have the funds to buy things in bulk in the first place. To me this is the way to save the most when getting reloading components. If you prefer to source locally you should try the other bullets that are available. It might be that they shoot as well or even better than what you are using now. All the bullets listed are reported to be quite accurate by many people in a lot of firearms so buying a box to try and then develop a load with is IMHO a good bet. Anyone that will ship bullets USPS flat rate will be the best deal. I am sure others will chime in and tell you who their preferred source is.

Ive shot all the bullets you have listed, and depending on the rifle one may do better than the other, but all have been "good" in my experience. Most of the eldms are the same as the amaxs of the same dia and weight, amaxs are being phased out.

Ive had excellent results with the 160TMKs in my 7mm, plus side is they perform more reliably than standard MKs if you use them for hunting, which i do.
