I started out with the G20/g3 (10mm) and never got bit. A year later I bought a G27 & G23, (both gen4, 40S&Ws) . I never felt it, but had the bite marks after shooting each on separate occasions. I put the medium beavertails on both to fix that problem. A few months ago I got a G29/g3 (10mm) and found, like it's big brother, it doesn't bite me either. I would've thought it'd be the other way around with the slide bite, but it twern't.
