Does anyone have any advice on where to buy large lots of pulled bullets by the barrel? A Google search keeps directing me to sites like RMR and similar. These are great and I've ordered from many of them several times, but I'm looking to buy barrels full rather than just 1k here and there. Are there wholesalers in the pulled bullet market? If you don't feel comfortable posting the names here, feel free to pm me.

Thanks guys!

You could research what companies get de-mil contracts for USGI ammo and contact them.

http://www.evergladesammo.com/bullets/bullets-case-quantity.html

has a section on their website where they deal in case quantities (3,000; 4,000 even 8,000 round cases). You might contact them and see if they are interested in dealing in tens of thousands instead of just thousands.

In the case of Everglades, all of their case lots include fee shipping.

And with 124 grain 9mm FMJ bullets being $250 for 3,750 at your door, that's 6.7 cents per round. Delivered.

The exact number s unknown to me, but I can tell you this;
It's cheaper to ship a 2000 lb barrel of lead, than it is to ship 2000 lb of, say, furniture.

Trucking companies (at least LTL companies) LOVE dense loads on a pallet. They take up no space, and are easily handled.

It may be cheaper than you think.

Well, if I calculated correctly a 55 gal drum would come in at about 5,200 lbs if filled with lead. Maybe a barrel is different?

Keep in mind not all pulled bullets are of equal quality. I have bought pulled bullets from different vendors and some were less than desirable. If you are buying barrel quantity of pulled bullets, you may not be certain of quality.

Pulled bullets from RMR I have bought have been very satisfactory and you can buy a sample of the bullets you will be getting in barrel quantity. RMR offers increasing levels of discount depending on quantity. Contact RMR or PM longdayjake and he'll likely quote you a heavily discounted price on barrel quantity of pulled bullets.

Here's a sample picture of RMR mixed 115/124 gr pulled bullets I recently purchased - https://rmrbullets.com/shop/bullets...l-metal-jacket-bullets-pulled/?v=7516fd43adaa

Shipping high weight/dense loads can be pretty cheap depending on where you are located. When I was in Texas we shipped in loads of strip metal frequently 20,000 pounds or more using independent owners/operators. They would carry a load of produce from the Rio Grande Valley back to the northeast and then were faced with an empty truck back south. We had a broker locate truckers willing to carry our load from the Boston area back to south Texas for pennies per pound, basically just to defray part of the cost of fuel. A real deal for us. Loads of lead would have the same deal if you can locate a deadhead truck.

You also need the means to unload the truck. Many companies will not deliver unless you have a forklift. Around they will not deliver to a residence.

I go down to the local feed store, ask to have it delivered there. When it comes in I go pick it up, they load whatever I ordered onto my trailer.
I leave $20 on the counter, tell them I'm buying lunch.

Shipping companies have trucks with the power lift gate. Most of those have the hand fork trucks on their truck to move the cargo to the lift gate. If you can request this they can unload it at your place, provided a truck can get to it.

I live out in the country when I get large heavy deliveries they normally park on the side of the road. I make arrangement with my neighbors to get a hold of their larger tractor with the the hay forks. The last big delivery I got was a total of 4000 lbs. With one item (kneebend mill) weighing in at 2400 lbs.

I was also going to suggest RMR. I have had good experiences dealing with them. I don't know exactly what you mean by the barrel full(I'm imagining a whiskey barrel, that's a lot of bullets!) but they may be willing to work with you. They do offer discounts with quantity as most dealers do. Would be worth a call/email.
