223 Load development and cost

I'm not offended at all but the cost is just one aspect, what about the ability to load subsonic the lack of report to train new shooters the fact that this is a load that can be made in the hardest of times you can't reload 22lr on the fly and get less than double digits in standard deviation I know you remember the ammo shortage and the fact that I personally cannot purchase 22lr locally under that still to this day! All these factors are still valid but it doesn't matter I posted a viable load that works for me if you can't use the data provided then don't but don't think that I'm actually offended I enjoy debate and look forward to a rebuttal.

I think it is pretty cool. Whatever floats your boat is OK with me. I used to load .223 to .22 Hornet levels, but then decided to just shoot my Hornet instead. :)

Thanks Walkalong,
I still use my 550-1 to hunt small game mostly even thought I have the ability in a Ruger ranch I shoot mostly crows due to having a threaded barrel which I use suppresed, I took an interest in revisiting loads used during the great depression and made what to me is a modern version using Trailboss due to it's universal nature (shtf scenario) in other cartridges. People have made these cast loads out of necessity before wether or not it can or will happen again is a matter for debate.
