Supposedly Crye Precision was to begin taking pre-orders for their new revolving shotgun this fall. It looks awesome, especially mounted under a rifle in master key mode. However I have not heard anything new about it. Anyone have any updates on a possible release date anytime soon?

We messed with that "master key" configuration in the 90's. Too much weight, too much going on all around. We ended up ditching them and going back to carrying a shorty 870 or 590 separate from the primary weapon- really, more flexibility to pass it to someone else without having to re-configure 1 or 2 carbines. For the same reason, we quit carrying carbine mounted grenade launchers, and went stand-alone on those too, for the most part.

One situation where the Mossberg Shockwave and the Remington Tac-14 might acutally have some merit.......I'd imagine a Serbu Shorty with the Witness Protection-type grip would be a handy little door popper.

The tac 14 and shockwave are essentially what we used, but not by those names.

Interesting...... in terms of bull pups tho I think the DP-12 is a better bet. Just my opinion tho.
