I have 10 long guns and 11 handguns. All I am looking for is an affordable and lightweight gun security cabinet for moving purposes.

Any recommendations?

You said "cabinet" and not safe, so I'm assuming ultimate security is not paramount. I have a Stack-On cabinet that holds my five rifles, and atop sits a separate, smaller cabinet that bolts to it that can hold a half dozen hand guns. If you want to go that route, this is probably more like what you'd need: http://www.cabelas.com/product/Stac...VVgfeu7x5ooodOnhYNQaArjrEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
I have mine bolted to a concrete floor and half wall, so it's not going anywhere. Could a determined thief get into it? No doubt, but then I've see videos of full on combo lock safes getting broken into, so it's all a matter of how secure the space you put it in is. I like mine; simple, keyed lock, sturdy without being massive, keeps kids/mental defects out, and the wife happy.

How long is long? How do you intend to move your guns around? How much weight can you lift?
Moving around that many guns is going to be heavy!
My first thought would be a pick up bed box,
but that's not something to carry around full of guns.

I've used something very similar to this.

I either wrap them individually or leave them in their cases so that they are snug but not wedged the cabinet.

The underside bottom is flat so a dolly/hand truck works well with simple strap around it. 10 rifles in this would be easier than moving a refrigerator for example.

If you already have a safe.... you can re-purpose something like
this to store ammo etc afterwards.

I needed a locking steel box to keep children and my father out of guns I left at the family farm. I got a Stack On 10 gun cabinet from Wal-Mart for about $100 delivered. Works great for that. If you were using it while moving, it would keep a casual thief from walking off with your guns while protecting them against careless handling.

It's not a "safe" as we might use that word since it would take a thief longer to walk to the garage and find the tools to break in than it would to actually break in, but at least it will keep the kids from extinguishing my lineage.

Walmart used to sell a Sentry "safe" with 1/8" steel walls and 3/16 steel door. It is my "doesn't have to be super secure" safe. Mostly ammo in it. It would be fine for keeping kids etc away from guns.

I got a umm...sentinel 18 gun 4 way cabinet from walmart for 150usd or so.
I think it might be this one:

I have all the shelves installed, the bottom 2 shelves are full of ammo, I have mags and then optics on the upper middle shelves, and pistols on top. I think I have 8 or 9 long guns in the remaining space.

I think its the same as jhansman's.
