BEST Small EDC Folding Knife

I just butchered a roadkill deer in the side of the road with a kershaw skyline. So that is my vote.

Check out the Buck Mini SpitFire???

Its a 2.75" blade; trim but enough to get a grip on. Removable clip. Aluminum scales. Only 2.1 Oz. Which is pretty light to me (vs the super light dragonfly 1.2Oz)

I don't think its offered with a serrated blade though if that's important.

As hso noted it's a Gerber. I think it's their smallest version of the Applegate-Fairbairn folder. Really love the design and the ergonomics of it.

I find the Shirogorov Neon Ti beats out the Mnandi for a smaller size yet extremely useful carry knife Shiros.jpg

The different brands/manufacturer of "small folding "knife you have an interest in is huge.
I`d do my own home work as I know what I like. Plus, I`d learn something. J s/n.

Being my goal was to replace an EDC knife (Spyderco Ladybug) I lost, I reached out here on THR to find suggestions for an EDC replacement. After weighing in all inputs, I ordered the Spyderco Dragonfly 2 Zome Green with plain edge. I have already received the knife which exceeds my expectations so far. I'm not as much looking for extreme performance as I am looking for a nice, lightweight, light duty knife to carry in my dress slacks. The VG-10 edge came super sharp but I honed it more and can shave hair effortlessly. I removed the pocket clip and this knife fits as a deep pocket carry so well that I had to feel for it as I thought I had forgotten to put it in my pocket. I am very pleased, and for general light duty tasks, this is the perfect knife for me. Thanks for the suggestions.

I just picked up a ZT 0900 on clearance since the design was discontinued. It is a solid little tank, but carries easily and is just the right size. Flips like a rocket, too.

Titanium framelock, S35VN blade. About 6-3/4" open and a bit more than 2.5" in cutting edge.

At $750 I would expect them to beat out the $400 CR. Since the Shirogorov Neon Lite isn't generally available and the Mnadi is many people might be reluctant to jump into that price range.

I think a better average for the Mnandi is right around 600, most folks opt to go with some kind of inlay as they represent a "classier" pocketknife. True enough that a Neon is hard to come across, they are slowly getting better tho.

I think the Dragonfly is a good choice. My regular carry for the last couple of months has been a Steel Will Mini Cutjack with M390 steel. I find it to be a great knife. This is carried in addition to my regular sak.
