Taurus model 85 stainless, new... $275, or $235 after mail-in $40 rebate?

$235 is an okay price, but you should be able to get a better price if you shop around. There are some crazy deals on these revolvers right now. I picked one up last week locally for $201. After tax and rebate, the final price was $178.

Anyone have a coupon code for PSA? Looking online I can't find any that work. Hey, another couple bucks off would certainly seal the deal on one of these 85's.. One could easily spend more on an evening out... Right?

I have a Side Guard "Minimal Clip" that I like quite a bit. It's a fairly basic leather holster, but it's great quality. I've been using it to carry an older 85 loaded with snake shot around my farm for about a year, and other than the leather getting darker from being soaked with sweat, it looks like new.

Hi-

The attached is a screenshot image from a Kentucky Gun Company email a couple of days ago.

The rebates end apparently on 10/31.

Have a great day all.

Does anyone have details on how the taurus rebate is handled? I just pulled the trigger on an 85 thru PSA. Do I just wait for it to arrive and then contact Taurus? I assume the Oct 31 deadline applies to purchase date, not transfer date...

Here's what I found on the Taurus site - http://www.taurususa.com/taurusonlinerebate2017.cfm

It was a link on the Taurus main page (http://www.taurususa.com/index.cfm) that said "End of Summer Rebates"

Have a great day all.

I think that is a great price, and I might have bought another, but I do have one

These are great little pistols, I prefer an enclosed hammer for a carry piece, but for the price they are hard to ignore.

I bought one for my daughter a few months ago for $299 (no rebate then). The blue model was $269 at the time.

Prices now with the rebate are very good.

Yeah, took it to the range last weekend. Very nice. I like it a lot. Very comfortable in the hand. Thanks for the heads up!

Also, as others have said: it's not shiney blue steel, but rather a matt black finish.
