What is your EDC gun?

KelTec P3AT .380, Glock G36 or a S&W J or I frame. Simple to use and operate - point, shoot, reload, repeat.

I don't feel I'm at a disadvantage by using different platforms. I practice with them all. When I shoot (most times every week) I shoot 200+ rounds of ammo through various pistols. Stay proficient with the gear you own.

Mostly commonly a Ruper LCP (it's a post-recall but before they did any major updates).

Occasionally a Taurus 709 Slim. Other than that most everything else I don't carry. I'm very, very picky about comfort and for the most part I've found that anything over the small single-stack 9mm size just isn't comfortable for me.

SIG Model 227 in a Galco "King Tuk" iwb holster most of the time. Some of the time, a Colt Cobra or S&W Model 12. And the rest of the time, a Ruger LCP.

I really want a P227 Carry for... carry. One of these years.

Before I went to the Model 227, I carried a Model 220 "Carry", thinking it would "carry" better. I now believe that the very slightly shorter Carry version of these two pistols isn't nearly short enough to make any practical difference whatsoever in terms of carry comfort or concealment. I would recommend getting the full size version which does offer slight advantages in velocity, recoil and repeat shot controllability. Slight.

Interesting. I regularily carry a 229, as well as occasionally carry a 245 and find that little bit shorter barrel more comfortable IWB.

Granted, I'd make do fine with the full size P227 as I have been carrying a government size 1911 of late, but I do like the balance of the shorter barrel Sigs

I've tried to carry larger guns, but I have come to the conclusion that I'm a mousegun guy when it comes to edc.

A Ruger LCP2 90% of the time with a NAA .22 magnum Wasp 100%.

Glock 20 10mm Auto (Gen III) in a Bianchi Shadow OWB. I wear the denim patch jacket almost constantly and it conceals the Glock nicely. I got a nice set of fiber optic/tritium sights on the Glock. I like the 200 gr XTP loaded to about 1250 fps but the SIG 180 gr JHP are more common around here. Either load gives me the confidence to end a violent encounter whether it is with a black bear in the Back-40 or a tweaker in the city.

I primarily carry my Taurus 85 ultralight, the gun has been through it all, I also have a 12 ga NEF singleshot in the Jeep, carry a KOA Alpha Wolf fixed blade knife on the belt and a cold steel double agent around my neck the clip point one. Also have a swedish hatchet in the jeep along with a cold steel russian shovel (not for a weapon , more of a get out of mud deal but make no ,mistake it can be improvised in a heartbeat.). Yes I am that paranoid and yes I am a coldsteel fan, been one for nigh on 15 years.

I miss my Bobcat, was a great walk the dogs gun....

That's the same way I felt about my S&W Model 38. I could carry it in my hand inside my coat pocket. Perfect for those late night walks in the park. Light as a feather and quick into action at a moments notice. Foolishly sold it to fund another handgun purchase but corrected the error of my ways by picking up a Model 638 a few years ago.

Okay, I lied. I did move up yesterday, but not to the .25 acp. I stayed with the .22 mag but in a larger format.

Longing for my .45's, but I fear that may be a bit of time away.

Nice convertible. I have an old 3 screw single six and it works as good to as the day I brought it home. I still use it to hunt small game.

I carried a Glock .40 for a few years, and kept wishing it was a 1911. So I got a Kimber 1911, which has been my carry gun for about 15 years. I recently bought a RIA 9mm double-stack 9mm, which will be my main rig if I can get it running well.

I use a Crossbreed Supertuck, a Galco Miami Classic, and I recently got a Blade Tech Total Eclipse, which I really like for OWB. I have been using a Serpa for years, but this one rides a lot closer.

1911 commander, the slimmest most comfortable I have found, I found the slight scalloped heal of the grip when bob-tailed eliminated the printing issue. So after carrying the Valor V-BOB I don't see changing from here out, even in shorts crocks and a Tshirt it goes undetected,,,,,, I myself am a larger frame though,,, ;)
