What is your EDC gun?

Kel Tec PF9. Hate all you want, but it fits my hand and carries just right, and I don't worry about screwing up the finish on a 1k piece. Works good once I got the bugs worked out and is accurate enough for my piece of mind.

A 2.5" Taurus M85 UL.
Once I get it to the range for proving and possible sight adjustment, my new Ruger SR9c.
Even got lucky with the cheap small-ebay-business holster.

It, however has a detachable magazine. Better sell it soon, Rocketmedic, you wouldn't want to have to register it on the NFA list.
If we can get them all NFA'd, I'll trade it for an LCR immediately
Why wait, Rocketmedic? There's no reason you can't trade it in now.

To be completely honest, I have no experience with the Taurus TCP, I do have an LCR, and it's a fantastic little pistol.

Mostly because I believe in carry and I don't have the *additional* funds for an LCR yet, and I'm enough of a hypocritical pragmatist to keep my 6+1 TCP until I can replace it with something more ideologically aligned with my beliefs. Then again, there hasn't been a mass shooting with a pocket 380 that made the news...

Also, I'm not afraid of registering it.

Think of the carnage we could eliminate (by your reasoning) if we make ALL guns hyper-expensive to own; $1000 a year, per gun?

By your own 'reasoning', that would both reduce crime and prevent your owning a gun; Win/Win. ;)

Rocketmedic, I will say that you are consistent.

Consistently bad, but consistent. Last I checked, regimes that banned or confiscated firearms were responsible for somewhere in the neighborhood of 65-100 million deaths during the 20th century. Statists, like you, have lots and lots of blood on their hands.

Ruger lcp with a spare mag, something heavier in my car. I think that is sufficient for the lifestyle I live.

Mostly because I believe in carry and I don't have the *additional* funds for an LCR yet . . . .
On the financial issue, that's fair enough.

I'm enough of a hypocritical pragmatist to keep my 6+1 TCP until I can replace it with something more ideologically aligned with my beliefs. . . .
My emphasis, but your words.

. . . . Also, I'm not afraid of registering it.
If you can't afford the additional funds for an LCR, how will you afford the tax stamp?

Back to the original topic,

P3AT everyday in my front pocket, especially when I am at the office with a tucked in shirt (soon to be replaced with a LCPII)
Shield 40 on the belt on days I wear a cover garment.

For me it varies, depending on what I'm wearing. North American 22 mag mini revolver, Colt combat commander 45, Colt Delta Elite 10 mm, 4" Smith &Wesson model 29. My truck gun is an Springfield Amory xd40.

Well, if the rest of the world is a guide...yes, that would decrease the rate of gun crime.

The United States doesn't have a "gun crime" problem, it has a "gang crime" problem. Whites in this country die from gunshot wounds at a rate of about 2.5 per 100,000. This is similar to Canada, Finland, and other northern European nations with strong hunting cultures. African Americans die from gunshot wounds at a rate of about 19.4 per 100,000. African American males are 6.5% of our population but are responsible for about 53% of our homicides. And this occurs in cities like Baltimore, Chicago, and LA, in blue states that have been ran by Democrats for decades and have some of the most stringent gun control in the world.
We actually had an Assault Weapons Ban. It was in place during Columbine. In fact, there were 182 mass shootings with 830 victims between 1995 and 2004, actually increasing from 173 shootings and 766 victims in the 10 years preceding it. We allowed the ban to sunset because no one could show how it had any positive effect on crime. In the decade after the AWB sunsetted, we set records for gun sales nearly every single year, including selling an average of one million AR-15s each year for the entire decade. That means American civilians could put an AR in the hands of every soldier in the Chinese and Russian militaries combined. You are more likely to be beaten to death by bare hands and fists than shot with a rifle in this country. And despite record gun sales and unprecedented gun ownership in this country, violent crime continued to drop, as it has been since before the AWB was passed in the first place.
I realize you will ignore facts. You people always do. But that's okay. Cause all the rational human beings realize gun control only works in your little bubble. That's why it is a losing issue for you. "Common sense gun control" is an oxymoron.

My current go to (80% of the time) is a Shield in 45. All my carry guns are S&W. Shield 45, Shield 9, M&P9C, M&P 380, or a 642.
