Now I know it doesn't kick much but id like a little longer LOP and shoulder issues...I like the Limbsaver but are there ANY that will fit without grinding them ??
I have a slip on and maybe that would be better than to modify the gun ?? Its a mod 94ae so its not a real rare gun...
Thx and Merry Christmas !!

There is a prefit decelerator pad for the 94s. Im not horribly familiar with the stock variations on them tho so youll have to see if it will fit your particular rifle.

Yeah....heres a link.....wow, guess they discontinued them been a while since i helped install one.

I guess best bet is a slip on or to have a pad fitted. Unless your having the stock shortened to keep lop same or similar theres no permanent modifications to the stock when fitting a recoil pad....unless your me and lazy/clutzy and ding your stock by trying to sand in the last 1/16 or on the belt sander.

Did Limbsaver quit making the prefits? A number of years ago you could download and print the profiles and find the one that fit your rifles stock just fine. I ended up putting the one for a Remington 700 on my Win. 95, added just enough length of pull and made the 405 a real pleasure to shoot.

Funny. I inherited dad's mid-sixties 94 44mag. A real lightweight with the beech or birch stock. He had a few boxes of Norma 240 grain loads. It kicked worse than my 788 .308. I made a lead filled magazine follower, put a few oz of lead in the butt and found a Pachmayr pad in the miscellaneous pile that fit almost perfectly. It is now a pussycat.
