Have one Ruger, the Redhawk in .44 Mag.

I have more than I thought. 6 categories (I'm lumping the Vaquero in with the Blackhawks), 9 individual specimens. I like them all.

Strangely enough - no long guns. Will probably buy a 10/22 at some point to rectify this.

I currently have 15 of the categories covered, of the 5 missing I've owned and sold both falling blocks a #1 in 7/57 and P series early P85, a P95 and a P97. I have no real interest in the RAPs or RARs, but I will be buying one of the new PC9s as soon as the price settles down.

Hardly surprising to see so many votes for the Mark pistols and 10/22 family, but I would have expected the GP100s to be at least as popular as the Blackhawks.
Ya, little surprised by the Blackhawk showing too- especially with folks commenting on how many multiple Blackhawks they own.
They're nice, to be sure, and my Dad has one, but for some reason they just don't tickle me that much.
I do feel a growing urge to grab a Redhawk, though. At this point, I think I might be searching for an older .44 7.5". Would love to have a vintage .357, but they are virtually unobtainium- and the more I consider the two-peice barrels and MIM clockwork on the new ones, the more it grinds my gears.
Sooooooo I'm thinking here comes my first .44 Mag! Woot Woot!

Had to change mine. Checked off a few more.
Looked like just handguns for a second.

I have bought/sold/traded a few firearms in my time.

Have been known to take a "deal" on just about anything.

BUT...
If I buy new, It's a Ruger. Except I won't pay that much for
ANY shotgun.

Lets see...an engraved 20 Red Label, and engraved 12 red label, both with screw in chokes, and SR9c, an SR-22 pistol, a Gen 1 LCP, 2 Mark II pistols, one a 6 7/8 govt target stainless and the other a 5 1/2 heavy barrel target, and most recently a Mark IV Hunter. Gotta say, the satin finish n those Red Labels, and the wood they usually use, mare them some of my favorite shotguns, and that fluted barrel Mark IV is just flat out sexy, I don't care who you ask. Edit to add the SR-1911 Commander length...

Never had a P series, but I've shot a few. Always relatively heavy, but always accurate and smooth shooters. I've always thought of them as the "chunky girl" in high school...always fun, but you never wanted to be seen with her...
