Ok. I feel really stupid here.

I got some reduced-reduced size steel targets (pair) off amazon on mistake (price was in fact, too good to be true). They are 7x12 . (which would be ~40%)

Anyhow. I also shoot at the 12x20 or 2/3 IPSC steel targets.

Let me know If I am right here...

Full size IPSC target at 15 yards, would be same as 2/3 steel target at 10yds, and the 7x12 at 6yds?

I am using 1, 0.666 and 0.4 as my multipliers here

I plan on using one of the smaller targets with the high strength velcro wall hangers for dry fire practice, but want to make it somewhat helpful. I like those cool mini-cardboard ones I saw on a Vogel interview on YOUTUBE too!!! Might have to make one of those

Minimum required distance for steel in USPSA is 23 or 27 feet (depending on what you meant - minimum fault line distance or distance inside which the shooter is DQ'ed).

Smoke & Hope in steel challenge has a 5 yard plate.

At some of those distances, getting "splashed" with lead fragments from time to time is pretty much guaranteed.

Minimum range to steel in IDPA is 10 yards. Used to be 10 meters in IPSC, but ATLDave says less now.

Authorized targets include 6" squares and 8" circles. So a 7x12 is a reasonable target at 10 yards.
