Looked at Leatherman’s site, it’s a Crater C33 model and the steel is 420HC stainless, which is what Buck uses in many of their knives. Nice matte finish on the thumb stud opening combo blade, and usual quality Leatherman tight feel to it. Has a carabiner that folds out and does double duty as a bottle opener. Strong pocket clip, removable, but not changeable to another position. Extra points that it was “born in the USA”.

Weighs 2.3 oz., blade is 2.6”, comes with Leathermans 25 year guarantee.

I think it would make a nice EDC even for it’s $22 MSRP, used for $2.50 I’m thinking I did OK.

I love a great "bargain" find! Extra points in that it has a serrated blade too!

You done good son!

Sharp eye :)
kudos

I like going through those junk boxes at tables. Once got a Van Camp folder with a broken scale. $2.00

Research shows it was a hardware chain house brand dating to 1949.
Easy to repair and cleaned up nice. Carbon steel, made it scary sharp.

I have one of those that has been through every imaginable abuse I could throw at it. It lives in my truck door.

You did great. Mine is still in great shape after well over a decade of hard use.
